Wedding Table Finder Guests Can Open With a QR Code
Give your wedding guests one QR code to scan. They type their name and see which table they are sitting at. No app to download, and no crowd around a board.
What is a wedding table finder?
A wedding table finder is a digital guest experience that replaces the traditional printed seating board. Instead of crowding around a large display at the venue entrance, each guest scans a QR code on their phone, types their name, and sees their table number.
The wedding table finder is part of MyGuestWork, a guest experience platform for events. Organisers set up the seating plan in the dashboard, and guests get a fast, personal table lookup experience on the day. The same lookup runs beyond weddings as seating software for galas and corporate events.
How guests use the wedding table finder
Arrive at the venue
Guests see the QR code displayed at the entrance, on a sign, easel, or printed card. You can make a printable QR sign for free.
Scan the QR code
Guests scan the code with their phone camera. No app download needed.
Type their name
The table finder page opens in their browser. Guests type their name and matching names appear as they type.
Find their table
Their table number appears clearly on screen. They head straight to their table.
What guests see when they search their name
The page opens with your names at the top and a search box. As a guest types, matching names appear underneath with each person's table beside them, so two guests called Sarah can each pick out their own. If nothing matches, the page says so, and they can try their surname instead.
Start from the Wedding theme on any plan, or set your own colours and fonts on Pro. On Pro, guests can also open the menu and floor plan from tabs on the same page, and on Premium a Photos tab makes it a QR code for wedding photos too. If you are still planning the room, work out how many tables you need and how many people fit at each table.
Why couples use a table finder instead of a board
Every guest checks their own phone, so nobody queues at a board, and a late change goes live without reprinting anything. For the full comparison, read digital vs printed seating charts.
Sending printed invitations too? An RSVP QR code for printed invitations collects replies before the day. It's a different code from the one at the venue.
